
Skynear began his career in San Francisco in December 1972. His work was quickly embraced by locals and international visitors.

Early on his worked consisted on mixing medias which was considered experimental at the time. The painting above is an example of these techniques.

Taken during the same period the painting shown is typical of the work made in the Prescott studio.

Over the years his work has evolved however he has maintained his style and the use of mixed media.
